Marx Presidents Reviewing Stand

The reviewing stand itself is attached to a contoured base, which features 'round over' routered
cuts. It appears to be molded on due to the outstanding craftsmanship and painting that includes
filling all gaps, cracks, nail holes, etc., giving it that "One Piece Look". The base is glued and
nailed to the bottom, then it was caulked. Every step and across the back was also caulked. If you
notice, the shape of the stands is accomplished with exact standards by placing the wood in a press.
There are five (5) steps including the one with the pillars. No longer will you have to worry, or
settle for a stand that has pillars that barely stay on the stand. Also I have eliminated the
indentations that the Styrofoam stand has, because I know if you are a collector of Marx Presidents,
you KNOW which order they go in, plus now you can arrange them how YOU want. We made the change from
four to 5 steps to accommodate the complete line of Marx presidents. The third picture will show one of
the pillars off the base. No longer will you have to worry, or settle for a stand that has pillars
that barely stay on the stand. Also I have eliminated the indentations that the styrofoam stand
has, because I know if you are a collector of Marx Presidents, you KNOW which order they go in,
plus now you can arrange them how YOU want.
NOW, very possibly the most special product of all: We designed a Presidential Stand room box,
which can be stained on the outside and painted on the inside with lighting that is adjustable.
Lift the front up, slide the stand in, setup the presidents and there it is! Now your collection
will remain dust free, safe from pets, and always be pecfectly displayed.
The president box unpainted is $49.95, inside painted adds $20.00, to do the outside with both stain and
clear coat is $30.00. The complete wiring kit, including transformer, wiring, 2 lights, brads, and
junction box is $60.00. Total package is $159.95 plus shipping. The box is 18" wide x 11 1/2"
Tall x 9 3/16 deep. with 1" feet on the bottom. Comes in choice of stain color.
Is it time for a new set of presidents? Why be satisfied with the sloppy overruns in the painting,
the lack of details, etc. I am a artist by trade, and one of my projects has been to take a PRISTINE
WHITE set of presidents, and paint them myself using fine acrylics. The finish on them is the way you
wish your current set had been painted. What sets mine off as a real collector's set is that I offer
two (2) choices when finishing off the base. You can choose the traditional gold painted base, OR select
the set with the antique white base with the lettering in black. This is true artist's work, which takes
a very steady hand, but shows you are serious about your collection. When I finish a set, I attach felt
to the bottom of each president. No, this service is not cheap in quality, but it is not unreasonable
in price for what you get. A set of the pristine white presidents, painted in fine acrylics with the
